Pretty good. I prefer this over the XM5 because it folds up more compactly.

Sound quality is kinda meaningless when you run everything through AutoEQ

Agreed about the preference over the XM5. I got these for that very reason since the XM5s would have taken up too much space in my backpack when I travel for work. I bought mine late last year, but if I had known about the XM6s, I might have held off. On the other hand, those are really expensive headphones and probably won't start seeing sizeable discounts for at least a year. All in all, I'm pleased with the performance of the XM4s, which replaced my OG WH-1000Xs.

I tried the code but got this message:

"Sorry, your order does not qualify for this promotion"

Nevermind. I tried ordering black. The code does work for silver.

Not these, but I have used a pair of Sony MDR100ABNs almost daily for maybe six years now. They are awesome. Noise cancelling has been great on flights, and at the dog park. These are probably even better.

Lol I got one in this color if you live in MN. Got it from that Target deal for $130ish a few months back.

I have a pair too and the only thing I'm upset about is paying launch price ($350) for them. Sony quickly realized they weren't worth that much against the XM series and dropped them to $200 🥲 I got my revenge by buying a second pair for my mom.

Terrible, terrible choice for that purpose. I own these and the ANC is nice but sound is pretty odd, especially in the bass. You should be looking at open back anyways IMO, which on top of better sound will be way more comfy for longer listening sessions. 58x or 600 at Drop are good options at a similar or lower price if you want a simple recommendation.

Oh ok, my question was strictly out of sheer curiosity. I'm very aware of using open-back headphones, and I actually own 3x of them personally: 2x
Sennheiser HD 599 SE's and 1x Sennheiser HD 595.
