I hate this toaster. Replaced a 2 slice black and decker that I had had for 10 years. With this one, it would toast the top half of a bagel and the bottom half would still be completely untoasted. So i returned it and got a replacement (from Target). Same thing, I still have it because I spent $50 on it so I feel like I need to put up with it for a little while but I still hate it, you're better off spending your money elsewhere. It looks nice, I'll give it that, but the half toasted bagel or piece of bread and then having to flip it and toast it again so that both sides get toasted is just stupid. Expected better from this

I agree...this model has issues...I had bought another one with similar features made by Bella from Best buy for under $30 and been happy with it...you can also check your local HomeGoods as had seen some good ones under $40 there a few weeks ago...
I've had this toaster for something like a decade. Works fine. Buttons are kinda useless. Slots are a bit narrow and force you to use "regular" bread rather than the stuff from the store's bakery section.

Wait….are you taking about the back/flip side of the bagel or the upper/lower half of the same side?The bagel button, on every toaster is designed to only toast one side. If that is what is happening, well, you have a toaster that has a working bagel button/feature.

I agree...this model has issues...I had bought another one with similar features made by Bella from Best buy for under $30 and been happy with it...you can also check your local HomeGoods as had seen some good ones under $40 there a few weeks ago...
As I said, buttons are kinda useless. This thing toasts regular square bread reasonably well. For anything else look elsewhere.
