Solid mount. If you're a frequent flyer, this is a must have. I also use it around the house.

Yeah I have it. Bought it for a couple dollars more. The magnet is super strong. Very handy mount. Might buy one for the missus at this price.

It looks too bulky for a must-have for a frequent flyer.

Bought this on the last deal and had a chance to use it on my last Southwest flight. It was fantastic. Attached to the secured upright tray quickly and securely. Not sure how I spent years just propping it up against something on the open tray. I will say, when not in use and you're carrying it around in your book bag, it's a bit awkwardly shaped. The metal tabs that secure it to a tray are perpendicular with the rest of the unit and very sturdy metal. Just doesn't smoothly fit anywhere so bit of a bulky device is my only complaint. Wish those tabs could in someway fold to make it more flat for storage. Can't complain given the price. 4.5 out of 5 stars for me.

The mount didn't really work for driving, a few shakes the whole thing was turning and becoming lose. Otherwise works pretty well with a thinner table

I've used this on a number of flights this year and it's been quite handy.

I agree that it's a little awkward in the bag, but I only put it in there when I'm traveling. Other than that, it stays at home. I'd think if they offered it with pivoting arms it wouldn't be as sturdy.

I bought this during the last sale and it's definitely too bulky for true frequent flyers. Even at home, it feels a bit chucky for what it does.

Personally, I recommend something like this. You can squeeze it between the table and chair when the table is closed. Which means no need to have the table open.

I use an 18-inch Nite Ize gear tie. I can shape it into a stand, hang it on the seat, and use it for many other applications. It weighs almost nothing, takes hardly any space in my pocket, and can be deployed anywhere, anytime.

The clip on the lisen fits on a tray table when closed. The clip is super low profile, even moreso than the on you linked.

I've bought 3 of these now. One for my travel bag, one for my car, and one for home. I've tried 2 other magsafe clips like this and this one folds to significantly smaller size and package than any other ones I've come across while still having good clamp strength.

I realize there's smaller ones out there, but nothing as strong as this one. This thing clamps hard and the magnets are solid. I'm not using a mount on a plane that's turning my phone into a projectile at the first bit of turbulence.

Since its that tiny, why not leave it always attached to the phone. This way you have it everywhere you go and dont have to keep multiple ones at different locations.
