Southwest Airlines have very limited dates travelling to and from Des Moines IA (DSM) and Las Vegas (LAS) this summer for $197, nonstop. Works both ways. If you are not flexible, there are other airlines (American, Delta & United), making 1 stop for $104 one-way. Still low for a peak summer airfare. These are all basic economy fares. On Southwest and American, you're allowed a personal item and a carry-on bag only. On United, you're allowed a personal item. I have dates for both options (nonstop, one-stop).
