It provides distances to the hazards. I played with someone last week that has this unit. I use a Garmin G80 and distances were about the same through most holes. Only off a yard or two and that was mostly par 4 holes from what I can remember. The one thing it's missing is the ability to move the pin, but most in this price range without a large display will have this same issue.
