Yes I found it after posting. Confused that Colgate total has both deals depending on size.
How do we receive the $10 ecb when ordering online? Paper receipt upon picking up? Thanks

It's there. Search Colgate Optic White and you'll see it. It only applies to certain Colgate Total, not all of them. Just placed an order as my previous ECB expires today. Good deal to rollover. Also a 5% CB from a gagged site.

Ready to rep you all once I figure all this out lol

I think the $4 is gone. It appeared for a split second while loading but then disappeared once the page fully loaded. CVS is good at screwing us up once these ultra slick deals are found. 😔

Yes send it to the card to extend the deadline. I had lost numerous ECBs lol because I didn't know we had to do this. Had to get on the phone and get some reinstated when I realized what had happened.

WARNING: CVS ExtraBucks (EB) Scam? Redeeming EB Lowers Qualifying Thresholds! ⚠️

Hey everyone, I'm posting this to warn you about a seriously frustrating and, frankly, deceptive experience with CVS and ExtraBucks (EB). I feel like we're getting scammed, and I want to save others from falling into this trap. On my last purchase, I fulfilled the requirements to earn EB, but I never received them. It was a massive hassle—I had to call customer service and stay on the phone for over an hour to finally get my EB. The rep confirmed I met all the demands, but it still didn't process correctly.

Fast forward to today: I was making another purchase to earn $6 and $5 EB by buying two toothpastes and spending $15 on mouthwash. I hit the $15 threshold for the mouthwash and verified that I met all the demands before proceeding. BUT HERE'S THE SHADY PART—when I applied my existing EB to the order at the end, it lowered the total cost of the mouthwash below the $15 threshold. ⚠️ I only noticed this by chance because, after getting burned on my last transaction, I was extra cautious this time. I went back to check the ExtraBucks reward tracker (which shows how close you are to earning rewards) and that's when I saw it: for every ExtraBuck I redeemed, the qualifying price of the mouthwash dropped by the same amount. So, on the receipt, it looks like I'm getting the mouthwash for cheaper than I actually am, but in reality, it's just knocking me under the threshold to earn new EB.

I didn't process the order because I'm not willing to deal with these shenanigans. I'm convinced this is what happened on my previous order too. Redeeming EB shouldn't lower the qualifying price of an item if I've already met the threshold before applying them. It feels like a bait-and-switch tactic, and I'm honestly questioning the fairness of this practice. Has anyone else run into this? I think CVS might be pulling a fast one on us with this new policy. If you've got more experience with their system, please chime in and confirm if this is how they're handling EB now. Just a major heads-up to double-check your totals and thresholds when using EB on qualifying purchases—don't get caught off guard like I did last time. I almost fell for it again today, but my caution saved me!

I applied a $5.xx ECB on my order. I didn't buy $15 of mouthwash though, only 1 mouthwash. I bought 4 colgates and already received the $4 and $6 ECBs for the purchase. For sure it's iffy when ECBs are based on purchase prices instead of quantifies. Usually when the rewards are based on purchase prices, I would not use the rewards to pay for it. Same goes with Walgreens.

Yeah but I have never not received EB no matter what the EB usage toward purchase was and I know WG is a mess I stopped shopping with them due to their shenanigans a long time ago but with CVS I've always been able to roll the EB to gain new EB but yeah not anymore?!? Lol time to cancel the $10/month plan. Oh well it was good while it lasted.

Wait, so can't roll ECB any longer? Only reason why I still shop there. Or do you mean using ECB lowers it from hitting $25 spend to get this deal?

Yeah, so before my last transaction, I never had an issue with getting the Extra Care Bucks, whether it was spend $15 or just buy a certain amount of items. But on my last transaction, something went wrong, so on this transaction, I was scrutinizing it. Before I applied my Extra Bucks, I had $15 spent on the Colgate, but after I applied $8 in Extra Bucks, it lowered the Colgate mouthwash by $8, and now I was $8 short from the $15 to get the new Extra Bucks. So, prior to these two transactions, I never noticed this before because it was never an issue. But as of my last transaction, which was like a few days ago, I didn't get the Extra Bucks. So, I figured it out on this transaction that using Extra Bucks no longer gets me more Extra Bucks in this case scenario. So, correct, I cannot roll the points anymore like I used to.

On a recent Aveeno order, the tracker showed me just short of earning the $5 ECB (something like 78 cents). I thought about trying to add something else to my order, but decided I'd be spending more than I was getting back. Then after pick up, I checked my account and I did in fact earn the Aveeno ECB even though the tracker indicated I was short. So a long way of saying the tracker is not always accurate, but YMMV.

There's a variance and I don't remember the exact amount but you can be under and you'll still get the EB's but again I don't remember how much under you can be.
