I noticed Ploutone is running a sale. I know tariffs impacted a lot of prices, but these appear to be marked down to pre-tariff sale prices. I picked up the KX700 [ploutone.com]at the last Black Friday sale and love it. If I recall correctly, this is the same price as it was running then. I also grabbed an X700 Duality II a few years ago and it's one of my favorites. Don't knock the Cort brand until you try it. They make guitars for many of the big names and these can absolutely compete with them.

If I'm spending $850 on a cheap Chinese made guitar, I'm getting it from a company with a world-wide network of authorized dealers and with full warranty. Cort does make some great $300-$500 instruments, and some more expensive ones for people kike PRS. But they have little resale value and no meaningful warranty, plus you cannot be sure that third-party parts will fit them.
