This is a good price point for this amount. Bought this set last year for $27 it looks like and I've seen it down to around $23. Poscas are really the top tier of these things. There's Sharpie and other versions but the Poscas provide the best coverage and such.

One of the biggest challenges with these markers is making sure you get the right size tip - these are 3M. They come in so very many. 3M (these) end up being giving you effective tip of what you might consider a thick marker. There's skinner and much, much fatter. All have their place and use. My little artist finds these great for her medium sized details.

The colors are really strong - she's been experimenting a lot lately with black backgrounds and these have been the standout ones as far as no bleed and solid colors.

Ahh I only use the 5M ones or I'd be all over this. Above reply speaks the truth these are the better of the paint markers available. I use them mainly on plywood cutouts but they're good on tons of different materials.

A solid deal, though beware, once you try a Posca or Copic, you're going to find all your other markers to be disappointingly inferior, and your wallet will pay the price. Smilie

How robust is the paint around outside UV? Noticed my other paint pens seem to noticeably fade out, and/or lose adhesion.

Are these the "best" brand to deal with UV and retention of the painted mark?

There are no-name copics on amazon now, but the real ones last forever. I bought a brand new set of gray Copics 11 years ago and to this day, they still write. Although I use them rarely, I was expecting them to have dried since the inks are alcohol-based.
