Great game. I wish Nintendo would remake Prime 2 & 3.
I love this game so much. A must-purchase for Switch owners if you never played it on GameCube; the remaster is 100% still worth playing even if you have played the OG Prime.

The Metroid Prime games are developed by the American company Retro Studios and they only have so much bandwidth. They have been hard at work making Metroid Prime 4.
Ah ok I was wondering because I remember when they mentioned they would do the trilogy at the time of the shadow drop.

I wish you would just buy the physical version .instead of complaining about the digital not being on sale.

I feel for you if my voicing my thoughts dulled your day. Everyone's situation and use case is different. Not that I have to explain mine but if it helps brighten your day back we're a blended family with several Switches that move between homes. So instead of buying multiple physical copies of the same game so everyone can play it regardless of where they are, it's much more fiscally sound and frankly convenient to buy digital copies on the designated home systems and then use the online license to play on the non-home systems. Half the cost for everyone to enjoy the game and not have to wait days or weeks for a physical copy to come back to one home or the other. So where I appreciate you seemingly understanding my family's needs and our financial situation better than we do ourselves, I think we'll just stay the course and wish for, not complain about, the digital copy to go on sale.

Not to be 'that guy' but isn't this always the price at Walmart for this game?

As long as you realize that process has been completely revamped with the loop hole closed that allowed game sharing. Now game sharing is only for family members on the same family plan, for up to three weeks, and is not meant for people in different households.

I do. It's unfortunate how it's been changed but yes, we're all on the same family plan so we can still utilize it to our benefit since most times we're not playing the same game at the same time. Just sucks if wanting to play something like Mario Party or Mario Kart now. Still cheaper than four physical copies though.

Interesting. I've never seen it above $30 when randomly checking. I'll keep a better eye on it.

Would you buy this now or wait till it's been released in the Swtich 2 (assuming an update version would take this updated versions place)?
Pure speculation, but if it's anything like their other Nintendo Switch 2 Edition version of Switch 1 games it will msrp for $10-20 more than Switch 1 msrp yet be eligible for an upgrade for said $10-20. So buy it now on sale will likely save you down the road.

Why buy LoZ BotW or TotK Switch 2 editions for $70-80 when you can buy the Switch 1 versions on sale for $30-40 (a few times a year) and pay $10 to upgrade, or if you have their online plan the upgrade is free. Really taking advantage of ignorant consumers.

You're waiting longer for a digital sale than you would be waiting to share a cart.

Nevermind you can get 10% off eshop cards everyday from the warehouse clubs.

They aren't taking advantage. That's called a sale price.

also they will stop selling Switch 1 games soon enough. Doubt they replenishing stock or making more physical copies. Thus probably won't see BotW S1 on sale for $30 again. Unless they otherwise can't get rid of the remaining stock.

I have JP BotW with the DLC but not TotK so I will probably get the Switch 2 version sometime down the road.

naming something "definitive" "enhanced" etc but not even having the DLC included is deluding your customer base
