I wish the digital version would go on sale too. It's always only the physical for this game I ever see. I own and played the originals and they're some of my favorites.

I picked this up around the holiday sale. It's a very fun game. Walmart is weird about these type of deals. They'll often cancel your order the next day because they're shipping from local in-store stock and by the time they fulfill the order the stock is gone. It's happened to me a few times. No issues picking up in person though.

An ex just gave me his Switch and accessories. I immediately went shopping for games. Purchased this from Walmart 3-days ago and the status is still "preparing". It's not available anywhere in the Denver metro area, but my order does say "Arrives by Fri, May 30", so fingers crossed!

If you like classic 3D Zelda like Ocarina of Time, Twilight Princess, etc... this feels sooo much like those games, but with shooter mechanics. You got the themed dungeons, puzzles, ability/item reliant progression, and even the same kind of bosses.

I would buy it, play it, and then replay it on Switch 2 when the time comes. I am not sure if they are remastering 2 and 3, but you would think they will. You could just buy it and keep it in your library; Switch games don't drop in price very often; I doubt you'll see it much lower than this.

Get it. It will work on the s2. I don't think it will be rereleased for s2.

The Metroid Prime games are developed by the American company Retro Studios and they only have so much bandwidth. They have been hard at work making Metroid Prime 4.
