I have a bunch of Lock N Lock containers that I bought ~16 years ago and use constantly and only ever had one hinge break (on a larger container). The others have been basically bulletproof. Love them! Only thing is, now I'm trying to move away from plastic and instead primarily want to use glass. But if you want plastic containers, these are my gold standard.

I also recommend this brand.
This is the company that pretty much invented the 4-side lock on this type of food containers.
The containers are well constructed: they can be microwaved and even be boiled for sanitizing purposes.
You can store tomato paste or kimchi in them and the containers don't get stained.

Have they changed lid geometry at all? I'm looking to replace all of my tupperware after a fire, and want to consolidate on a single brand. Had been going with Snaplock for a while because they feel so nice, but I really like Ikea's promise to keep the same lid/gasket for a long time so I can just buy replacements as needed. They're also interchangeable with their glass line of storage.
