For $1,000, it's not bad, but even the LG B4 is better. Considering the B4 is only $200 more, I don't really see why anyone should get this TV. If you're going to get OLED, do it right and go with the better TV. You won't miss that $200 (well, plus tax) in a month. https://www.rtings.com/tv/reviews.../z85a-oled
I hope its better now, my S95B is dead slow. It's sad that a $30 roku box smokes the processor in an allegedly flagship TV.

Panasonic has firetv so similar to Android. I didn't buy Samsung because of the OS (Tizen) was slow for channel changes ( I don't know if that's still the case). I'll let owners comment on LG

The OS is slow because it's working in the background to capture your data for re-selling purpose. It's no different than loading youtube, pausing the video, and watching the CPU and WiFi spikes. Microsoft is doing the same thing (data mining) by selling Windows 11 Pro for $10.

My non-smart Panasonic TV is lightning fast when it comes to changing input, navigating the menu, and switching OTA channels.

Anyone know who makes the panels for Panasonic? I don't believe this is OG Panasonic anymore either, is it? They got purchased by some other company, IIR

For someone on the fence about getting OLED versus non-OLED, I just got a TCL QLED Q7 on the 599 deal at Best Buy. The blacks are extremely impressive!! I finally started looking for an OLED to buy after watching prices fall for 10 years and now after taking a chance at buying QLED instead, I realize it meets my needs at a much lower price. That said, I get it if you want the premium technology that is OLED. No hate!

LG. The picture on this is really nice, but I haven't had another OLED for comparison. The OS isn't bad, but it is full of ads due to Fire. PS5 is hooked up to it, so I just use that.

So is Samsung's continued non-support of Dolby Vision. I understand taking a stand at the beginning of the HDR era, but it's clear that HDR 10+ ultimately didn't gain the favor of the majority of the big dog streaming services, so why continue not supporting Vision, especially when bargain basement TCL, Hisense and Vizio do?

Nice! Yeah, I would probably use something else like my Xbox or PS5 to stream content. FireTV is butt.

I believe you, I wouldn't be surprised if they are siphoning data
