So I use these to put in the color catcher cloths and the detergent packs. The color catchers don't get sucked into the washer filter and the detergent packet doesn't end up in the front of the washer.

I use bags like these to keep all of my socks together so I don't have to search for them in all the laundry. It's effective and saves time. Also sometimes socks can slide in between the drum and the outer shell so using this prevents that from happening.
