Does anyone know the difference between this and the 3 Plus from Ecoflow's website, short of the slightly different plug layout and slightly higher wattage of the plus? When Ecoflow was having their Memorial Day sale, the Plus was actually cheaper than QVC (absent the trolley).

The plus is essentially a generation better in a few specs - i.e. more power over USB, 2 solar power inputs instead of 1, 5ms lower switchover, higher IP-rating on the battery, etc. Same total output 1800w though.
The 1500 has the much bigger included battery though, and the rest of the specs are just fine for most people (like 100w over USB instead of 140w).
So it really depends what else you want to buy - external batteries for longer power, 2 solar panels to recharge as fast as possible, etc?
I only wanted a single unit to try out so I went with the 1500. A Plus takes a lot more spending to really make it "better".

something I learned about ecoflow units from reddit threads is that beware it's not a real UPS at all

not just the slow switchover time

but it will let low voltage (brownout) and high voltage pass right through without turning on the battery

Have to agree with Avalon for the most part. Not a substitute for actual UPS's that have at least AVR-capability, let alone pure sine-wave output or online UPS's. Probably not a big deal for devices you wouldn't normally have on a UPS in the first place though.

That's actually a solid setup for the price—especially with the solar panel included. I paid almost this much for just the Delta 2 a while back 😅 Anyone know if the trolley is sturdy enough for rough terrain? Thinking of using this for camping but not trying to baby it everywhere I go.
