I'm in the same boat. I've got the space gray but think the midnight would look cool. Also, would like the 15 inch screen. But that'd be the only differences because everything else is working fine. My battery is at 90% so I think I can make it a few more years. I decided not to get in on this deal and instead wait at least a year and hopefully the M4 15 inches will be heavily discounted then.

The cheapest M4 air 15" 24/512 was at microcenter for $1359. I think M3 for $999 with everything the same is pretty good deal.

So I bought this from Best Buy and confirmed a price match. Got a case number and positive assurance that my account would be credited back $300.07 and that I should see an email confirmation of that credit and I screenshot and had the chat emailed to me just in case. 8 hours later instead of getting the usual price match email adjustment, I get an email from BB customer service telling me that the they do not match limited quantity competitors sales and that no $300 credit would be forthcoming. Went back on Costco website to order and it was sold out. RUFKM? I accepted delivery and plan to dispute the charge for the $300 difference. If that doesn't work I plan to engage our state attorney general's office for shady bait and switch practices. Did I mention I have proof positive that a credit and price match was confirmed?

When you receive it, be sure to go to: Apple > About This Mac > More Info > Coverage Details

To check on the warranty because this is an M3 you may need to contact Apple Support they will ask for your receipt so they can reset your warranty period. I've done this with my other Costco purchase be patient it so you can receive the FULL warranty. Hope this helps Smilie
