Isn't this 480p like the Piranha Plant camera also from Hori? Unlike the official Nintendo peripheral that is 1080p.

It's funny, because the official Hori website doesn't even seem to say (unless I'm missing it). But according to some random online reseller, yes, it's 480p. If true, I'm still impressed with how they even have such crap sensors still floating around. Who is making these in 2025? Must be NOS or something.

On AliExpress there are 720p cameras for the Switch 2 that have the same detachable feature to attach to either a base or the Switch 2.

I was able to order one for $10.70 last night, but today they are in the $19 range. Shipping is free, but takes a few weeks. Tariff included in pricing.
