I couldn't get it down to $17 either, but mine came out to $19.19 (no tax).
I also just wanted to add that it's still a good price. I've bought this exact pack about four times now at around $29 each time.

Thanks for posting this btw!

Eta: Regarding the quality, it's actually surprisingly good especially considering the price. I've tried a bunch of of different "budget" brands and this is definitely one of the better ones. One small, but nice, thing about them is that I haven't had a single pod arrive damaged. That's rare when it comes to having aluminum pods delivered.
I have now tried these two times, each time buying deals for 10 packs posted here before in SD. The coffee is not bad, especially for the price. However, I noticed the flow rate is rather low for their high intensity variety (10) and the shot takes long time to pull from my machine. Just an FYI
Plastic.

You should be more concerned about the coffee maker and not the pods.

Looks like deal is DOA. Getting $31.99 - regular price. Even S&S does not bring it down to a low-$20 range (no hidden discount on checkout).

Welp, it feels like a deal to draw attention and then get dropped quick. Hoping to get those sales from those that don't check.

Either way the deal is gone.

I believe they are referencing the pods being made of metal but to me it's better than plastic

Don't know what is worse, plastic or aluminum pods. I bought reusable k-cup stainless steel pods and fill loose coffee into them.
