Read the poor reviews. Most are user error. A lot of complaints that they are too small. The size is stated. 4/25 inch, which equals 0.160 inch. Rounded to the nearest 32nd it's about 5/32. They are small, duh. Then there are complaints that they are hard to align all the letters perfectly when making dog tags etc. Again, duh. They are simple individual marking stamps; it's not a typesetter.

Reading Amazon reviews makes me lose hope in humanity sometimes.
Regardless, Harbor Freights has 1/8" stamps for $10 and 1/4" stamps for $13 everyday. You can get them cheaper if you wait for their coupon. The set at Amazon is slightly bigger than 1/8" but for $10, it's not really a slick deal.
