Their newer made tri-ply clad line has sealed rims. This prevents the aluminum layer from eroding and pitting which causes the edges to become sharp.
i had bought this set around Christmas and they warped almost instantly and i returned them
Are these old or newer?

How are these comparing to Costco's GreenPan ceramic 3 sets?

Can you please provide me alternative in ball park of this price? Not looking to spend $500 but don't mind spending $100 ish.

I have been paying over $50-80 every year or so for non stick or ceramic cookware for set of 5 to 7 pan and skillet before they go to trash. So looking for something safe which would last at least couple of years

Yikes. A set of quality stainless steel pans would have paid for themselves by now. Can usually get a decent 14 piece set for under $200.

I understand and that is why I did buy stainless steel recently. Got cuisinart and david burke pan from Tjmaxx recently to try how stainless steel works. I have blue diamond ceramic which I am trying to see if they respond to my warranty emails as they failed within an year.

This isn't an apples to apples comparison. GreenPan cookware is a nonstick line while the Cuisinart featured here is stainless steel. The GreenPan will be a great nonstick surface, better to cook eggs, pancakes, etc., while the Cuisinart will also be good for frying eggs (as long as you use some kind of fat to prevent sticking), but you may still experience sticking. The "sticking" can be good for developing fond and caramelization that can be used to make sauces, etc.. The GreenPan will need to be replaced but a good set of stainless steel pans can last a lifetime. This is just a quick comparison, not an in depth one.

All that being said, if I had to choose one or the other, I'd personally go with stainless steel, but in an ideal situation, it's good to have both.

I don't have experience with these in particular, but I've been using a large set of aluminum core Cuisinart pots and pans for 15 years and they still work just fine, no warpage at all. They are 2 rivet style and the handles are slightly loose now on some of them.
I've been using Cuisinart SS pots/pans since I bought a set advertised on SD back around 2007. One large fry pan has warped, because I forgot it on the stove for an hour on HIGH. Mea Culpa! Everything else still great. Good Stainless Steel is the way to go.

Looks like the 13pc set is on sale too, wonder if it's worth buying a whole set if you need it or wait for sale on the pots?

You can't beat the price, but my experience over the past 15 years with a full set is that I use just a few of them on a regular basis (smaller pots, stock pot, 8 and 10" fry pans). The rest just take up room.

They also warped for me. I can't tell if they came that way or it was something I did. They were also on clearance at my store for $20 so I guess I can't complain
