Which of these prebuilt companies have the better build quality and proprietary components overall....HP Omen, Lenovo Legion, or Dell Alienware?
HP's Omen 25L or above use standard components. Dell and Alienware, almost all models use custom components like custom form factor motherboard, proprietary Motherboard connector, non-standard PSU etc.
This specific HP 35L, all the components are standard, m-ATX motherboard with 24-Pin Connector, standard ATX PSU, Aftermarket Ram, SSD .

That was the one. $2249 after coupon, but I also got another $100 off from credit card offers and 13% cash back...not to mention about $113 in Dell rewards. But even excluding all the extras, I'd much rather have that one at $2249 than this one for $100 less.
One thing you are forgetting is that almost all the components on that is custom and you will have hard time to replace anything with standard components, if the need arises in future for whatever reason. This, on the other hand, uses every components as standard.

I'm actually not forgetting anything at all. I just don't care. Thanks for assuming.

You're a "grand master" (lol) and you commented this nonsense, so clearly you bought this then. Right?

Here's a snippet from a post I made on one of the Alienware desktop threads that I think demonstrates that I didn't forget:

"While upgradeability is nice, for the most part by the time people want to upgrade something other than an SSD or ram, they're going to want a new CPU, which in 4 or 5 years will probably also mean a new socket (so a new mobo) and a new GPU. At that point, who cares if you have to buy a whole new computer?"

This deal sucks. Just let that be okay without trying to hype it for no reason.

A deal poster does not buy all the deal he/she posts. And the "Forgetting" mentioned is not literal, was just making a point. And While your point of upgrading is perfectly valid, there may be cases where you need to change it due to Faults in the system which is a common thing.
Also, the custom design boards have several limitations especially while using Memory modules and not compatible with lot of high end kits. Check Reddit or any other forums and you will see plenty of posts that their higher capacity or higher Frequency Rams are not working or downgraded to a lower speed.
I am not saying that Alienware deal is bad or anything but simply putting one advantage of this system over it...that's it.

"This deal sucks" proceeds to be weirdly aggressive with anyone who doesn't agree and does seemingly forget that common factor components is as much about repairability as it is upgradeability.

So far the goal posts have moved from "I got a better Dell for $400 less" to "maybe if all the cashback pays out it was 200 less, but I would still pay $100 more because this computer sucks. No I won't explain why".

Point is, unlike Suryasis you are adding nothing of value to this thread except vague insinuations that this PC is a bad deal. It may be, but you certainly haven't shown that.

Price for me is showing up over 3K when I enter cart. Coupn only brings it down to 2600. Is deal done?
