I feel like 16340 batteries have too little capacity.

The Energizer X1000 uses a standard 18650 and is also 1000 lumens (only 1 minute at a time, annoyingly) and 400 lumens continuous.

It has good CRI, but annoyingly charges by micro usb.

That's a useful tip about the X1000, I assumed from the Amazon product page it ran two cells in series. Yeah, an honestly rated 16340 should be roughly equivalent to 3AAA (in NiMH).

Thanks, for most use cases in a headlamp you want longer runtime over high lumens.

Use code: SAVENOW30

For 30% off. Helps to offset Duty but you'll have to add more to meet the free shipping minimum.

None of thier "flash sale" items ship from the US warehouse.

Also, because it's an international charge there is no tax. So for people in high sales tax areas like LA thats another 10% savings to help offset the duty.

Good reason to not buy Chinese for awhile. They'll suffer and lower their tariffs against us.

Keep in mind lights may have a big battery, but will eventually start overheating, causing the light to be dimmer and eventually turn off. It will still turn on once it cools off. Project Farm did a video on how long some of them last.

Sorry about my previous post. That SaveNow30 only gave me 10% off.

I got:
1 Sofirn HS10 = 11.99
2 Sofirn SC13 (green) = 19.98
1 Silocone Diffuser for Q8Plus (purchased from previous slickdeal) = $3.29

Product amount = $35.26
Discount code (SAVENOW30) Value = -$3.53
Shipping = 0
Duty = $4.76
Sales Tax = 0
Total Amount = $36.49

For some reason paypal wouldn't let me use my mastercard for the purchase but I used the same mastercard directly and it took it.
