The dive light is neat, but unless you are actually going underwater or in a super moist environment, the requirement to remove the battery to charge it using an outboard charging module is somewhat inconvenient vs the units with built-in charging options.

You know it's tactical... because the model is shown holding it with a tactical glove

How many people here own a tactical glove? Very few.

If the Sofirn company was smart, they would create a non-tactical version of this flashlight so that any layman without tactical training could buy one and use it.

Neither is suitable for diving. Snorkeling maybe, but not waterproof beyond a few feet of depth.

The third is indeed a dive light, that has been tested in a proper dive...I assume you didn't actually read the post.

You're right, I didn't see the third light.

Indeed, the dive light piqued my interest. However, it would be unsuitable as a primary dive light for my needs: too small, too difficult to manipulate while wearing dive gloves. Even as a backup light I'd be hesitant to dive with it ... just too easy to drop while fumbling to turn it on during an emergency.

I have no use for a tactical light. I'm out.
