I got one of these from HD a couple of weeks ago. They blew the delivery so they agreed to knock 20% off (so I got it for $800). I absolutely love it. Haven't smoked with it yet but man it gets to temp so fast, and gets back after the lid is open so fast. I'm really happy with it.

I loved my old Weber grill and started off looking at thosr and the Traegers but just kept seeing people recommending this over everything else out there for a layman like myself. It should arrive tomorrow and I'm looking forward to trying it out!

Pretty pricey for what it is, and seems like a compromise device. Doesn't get super hot, but unique for combining smoking and grilling. Seems like the device to get if you want something that can do both but you aren't hardcore about either.
