tip for those who wacky rig these (which is where you feed the hook through the middle of the worm which results in a lot of action while twitching the rod) - get some rubber O rings and feed them onto the senkos (I use an empty pen and use the tip end to feed the O ring on the pen and slide it to the end with the lure on it). when using the lure instead of hooking into the lure itself, just slip the hook under the O ring so the lure won't have any holes in it. your lures, in theory, should last a lot longer.

4" is small and haven't done well with them, plus, no black/dark color. 6" is the sweet spot in my experience....she agrees too!

You're talking for largemouth bass....and women, right? 4" is good for smallies.

Which color is best for trout or bass? How to decide or just pot luck?

Double sided? Do you mean different colors on either side? Those are usually named as laminates. Some on sale are. Others aren't.

Agree this is a good size for Smallmouth, and I think there are some good applications for largemouth with these too. These will fit perfect on a Jika rig. And for anyone saying no good colors, if you don't think Junebug is a good Senko color, you're doing it wrong!

Watermelon and pumpkin colors are kind of standards for bass. Some like the black and blues. Watermelon Red Magic is kind of my go to. Shad color also has worked well for me if you want something different. Don't fish for trout so don't know there.

A guy I meet fishing told me he uses these for NED rigs. Has anyone else ever done that? Did it work?

Yes, works fine. A little big. They have a 3" made more for that. I guess you could just pinch these off. Or use the leftovers from scrapped ones which you'll always have plenty of with Senkos.

I like the TRDs better for that. The sink rate isn't as important for Ned rigs and they stand up better and last forever.
