Very strong odor. If you have a toilet with the button on the top of the tank, the bleach fumes will corrode it.
If you'd like the smell of bleach throughout your whole house, get these

No coupon for me, but "Last purchased May 25, 2025", so might be the same coupon?

As for the product, it does much better than store brand tablets. It does have a strong bleach smell as mentioned, but I only notice it when going down the hall and pass the bathroom and inside the bathroom. Maybe it has a stronger bleach concentrate ratio than the store brand ones and thus why it works better.

This does not work. The tablet are tiny and they do not keep the toilet clean. Do not be fooled by packaging and the photos.

With modern fill valves, very little water from the tank actually goes into the bowl - the bowl is filled by the fill tube. So if you're trying to bleach your tank, you could just dump some bleach and a drizzle of soap in there as needed, and then you won't have to smell chlorine gas constantly evaporating (and corroding anything corrodable.)

I bought one of these and some bromine tablets to put in it, but we replaced the original toilets with Toto toilets a little earlier than I had planned, and found it completely unnecessary: https://www.amazon.com/Kaboom-Scr...B00LPEO64G

Vacplus posts should be banned from this site. Seriously, this stuff is toxic, smells awful, and doesn't break down very easily. I bought this one time, used two tablets, and ended up throwing out the rest. Proceed with caution.

Plumbers very adamantly advise against this. It will eat away at the seals in your tank.

Account since 2016… and this is your 15th comment? On an always heavily SD promoted product that the majority of comments routinely slant against due to ineffectiveness and pungent odor.

Interesting. But anyways, these suck. Don't drop them in your tank as they will eat the rubber gaskets and develop a leak from the cistern bolts or the center boot. If anything, use ONE in a "kaboom" housing so it goes straight to the fill tube for the bowl.

The bleach will also eventually erode the flapper and depending on your type of toilet the gasket where the tank and toilet connects. As another post mentions, the only way to go if you want to inject chemicals into the toilet bowl is Kaboom or similar product that has a dedicated chamber to hold the chemicals. IMHO bromine does not off-gas or smell nearly as bad as the original Kaboom tablets so use them as a more economical replacement.

Over some VERY long period of time chlorine attacks some of the seals, but I am talking like a decade+.
