I see that Amazon has the Infimobile(Verizon) 12-month, unlimited talk/text with 15GB high speed data cell plan for $112.50 again right now. Looks like the T-mobile variant is no longer this price.

Don't buy this garbage. Bought 1yr service 3 days in I toss the chip in the garbage and went back to mint
Can you elaborate on the problem(s) that you had? So far my Verizon-based service through them has been as good as any MVNO cell provider that I have ever had(I've been with them probably about 6 months or so I think)

Thanks!

I went to the recharge page, and they have a promotion for 10gb 12months for $99. Hmmm....
Isn't that just for a new line? It does not say that's specifically for a recharge from what I can see.

The renewal rate seems to be $252 after the first year promo ends, as best I can tell. Unless someone can confirm they were able to renew for $99.

I logged into my account, chose the recharge page, put my Infimobile phone # in twice, & selected 15GB 12-month plan(listed as $125) recharge as if I was going to buy it(actually this option was 'pre-selected' already). I've still got about 7 months left on my current plan of the same type. After tax the total was going to be $140.27. I did try selecting the 10GB plan & immediately got this message, "You have enrolled in a multi-month plan, and you are currently in the 5 month out of 12. To ensure uninterrupted internet access, please recharge your plan with a Data Addon.". So I'm not sure if you choose the same plan as you are already in, & go all the way through with the purchase, if it will just tack the extra year of service onto the end of your current plan or not? Has anyone already tried this?

Yes.. but hotspot extra ( if you need it)
According to the Infimobile rep. the hotspot feature is an added $5/month. The amount of hotspot data useable per month is capped at 5GB & that data is deducted from your regular, monthly available high-speed data allotment. After you use up your high-speed data allotment for a month it looks like the data speed is reduced to 256Kbps for the remainder of that month...I guess it IS technically "unlimited" data, but I'm not sure how useable 256Kbps is these days??? Anybody know???

I bought the 15 GB plan then returned it and bought the 5 GB plan for $60. The 5 GB plan service is great but it has been almost a month and a half and they have not refunded the money for the 15 GB plan. I have never seen such slow refund especially on Amazon.

Has anyone received their phone yet? How long does it take to receive a phone?

Be advised if you are thinking about doing a referral or counting on the proceeds from one to purchase a service...Both parties(referrer & referee) will get a $10 referral credit on their account, but I found out the hard way that this credit can only be used at a rate of 20% of the service being purchased/added using it as payment...I wanted to buy 2 months of hotspot with mine, but they will only allow $1 of the referral bonus to be used toward this per purchase🙄. So you have to use the $1 of referral credit AND $4 from your credit card per month to buy hotspot access. Piece-mealing it like this, it would take 10 months to use up the $10 of referral bonus!!! I think this is a load of crap & very disappointing to me. I Can't figure out why anyone would want to take the time & hassle to do a referral if you can't really use the rewards from it in a meaningful way?
ALSO be advised that, if you want hotspot access on your phone for more than a month at a time, you MUST choose & pay for the whole service agreement term($5 X the # of months of the service you purchased...$60 on a 12-month plan) when activating the SIM, otherwise you will have to purchase & pay for the hotspot access EVERY month! This information came from a chat I did with a rep. after activating my wife's new service. I hope to actually call them tomorrow & make sure this is all correct. They need to rethink it if it is! UPDATE: I spoke to a rep. on the phone & they say that the hotspot can be set to auto-renew each month from your credit card if you want. They also DID confirm about the abysmal 20% per purchase limit from your referral bonus.

very helpful info, thanks. I don't think any of these issue will apply to my use, but they are definitely things to keep it mind for anyone using this service as primary service.

Yeah, I don't think most people would be affected by either issue normally. I was only looking into the hotspot thing for a couple months for the kids on a road trip & thought, "great! I can pay for those 2 months with that $10 referral bonus...Nope!😒", otherwise I really don't use hotspot at all. Overall Infomobile is offering a great deal here I think & the service has been fine, especially since switching over to the Verizon network.
