Without eq, sound quality was vastly superior to the 4, a lot better than the 5. After eq, the gap was smaller with the 5, but the momentum 4 has fantastic sound stage that can't be eq'd. I sold and returned my 4 and 5 accordingly. Haven't demoed the 6.
I've also tried the B&W PX7s2 and px8. To me, I find these to sound best in class (px8 better but not in the same class). At this price point, sound quality is really hard to beat for BT ANC.
