I have a case + better PSU + 360mm cooler already and even excluding those things, this deal came out cheaper than what I could find available by ~$200. I would say it's a pretty solid deal. You could always wait for the GPU to be available at MSRP but that might take a few weeks/months or you could just get this and not have to constantly check inventory/lose to bots.
so you have until june 8 to make a decision. unless they sell out and i'm pretty sure they will sell out very quick.

You can uv/oc any 5070 ti or 9070xt to within 5-7% of a stock 5080 . Quick YouTube search will show you they are within arms reach for about 500 dollars less.

This is bad advice. 5070Tis are binned 5080 chips (GB203 die), it's the sweet spot right now.
I will say this, if you can get a 5070ti for under $850. Then you are better off buying the combo 9800x3D or 7800x3D deal and getting the ti card. Because $1700 for a 2.5 slot cooler is a bit of a joke. Zotac was selling their entry level 5070ti solid core for $850 and that cooler is a 3 slot cooler.

With that said if the 9070xt deal will cover almost everyone provided the only difference is the GPU.
Now the 5080 super this year may fall into that category.
$500 other includes, Gigabyte X870E AORUS PRO ICE, 64GB DDR5-6000 RAM, 2TB Solid State Drive, etc...
Appreciate the info !
The video card alone will run you $1400-1500 and you aren't getting the rest for $1k without some extraordinary deals which don't currently exist. This is all quality off-the-shelf components, not some house-brand Dell motherboard. That also excludes assembly. Some of us can do it for 'free' but it's still a couple hours of work.
Just for comparison I build rig on 5/13/25 using Ultra 7 265k/64GB/4TB with Asus Z890, 5070ti, CPU watercooler, 850w 80+g PSU, case and a few extra fans and it came to $2110 before tax - and that was with a special combo deal for CPU/MB/RAM at microcenter. A 5080 would have added at least $600 to the build. Oh, and if you don't already have a Windows 11 Pro license include that too. (yes I know there's ways)
wat?!

Edit: if you update the BIOS, just know (1) there's a REV 1.0 version and a REV 1.1 version, and you'll need the 1.1 version on the website, and (2) you'll have to redo your PIN/Windows Hello because the BIOS update does something with the TMP profile.
