I noticed that the ride is more expensive if you have funds in your uber account. Check online forums, people saying the same too. Uber jacked up the price if you have gift card. 🤬

Has anyone else seen prices increase on the app across the board?

Chipotle was always 8.85 for pickup for my bowl. Recently, it shot up to $11.00 on Uber.

I'm curious if this is happening to anyone else?

It's crazy how this generation would rather pay a big ass markup on a $5 burger plus tip just to not take a 10 minute trip outside their house.

It varies a lot based on where you use them. For me it's cheaper to get it through UE because the $100 for $75 is 25% off then there is always BOGO or huge discounts offered at multiple restaurants in the area. The largest price difference I've seen so far is one that charges $6 more for UE than in restaurant order and Uber One is $10/mo to half the fees and put delivery charge at $0 so with all the discounts offered only through UE or Uber One the price comes out cheaper. Often you can also just order through UE and select to pick up your order yourself and you get all the discount as well as an additional one for not having delivery or tipping the driver which is optional anyways.

You can order pickup with uber eats and with this Costco deal combined with buy one get one free at restaurants, it is much cheaper than not going thru uber eats.

My account with gift cards applied never gets any coupons compared to my other account without gift cards -_-
