From my understanding intel is great for laptops, but AMD is still overall better this generation for desktops. This generation, Intel focused on fixing last generation's power efficiency problem.

I noticed it says "Micro Center by Amazon". Is this now a way for those of us who don't live near a Micro Center to get in on some of their deals? Here's hoping.

The Core Ultra 265k performs very close to a 14700 with substantially lower power consumption and temperature. And similar to a Ryzen 9900x. That makes me say they are better processors.

Microcenter sells on amazon but it doesn't appear to be the same deals you get at the store.

They also generally have an upper hand in production use, gaming Intel takes a slight hit however.

Kinda sorta?

Ships by Amazon

Sold by Micro Center

Likely will not be as good as the in store only deals, but maybe better than other places.

Same. Although I've experienced random reboots but that was resolved by latest motherboard driver update.

Disappointed because Microcenter was selling the Ultra7 for $249 last two weeks. A month ago, it was $279.99. I returned for the $30 price difference as I hadn't built my machine yet, and the CPU was still unopened. Crazy to see that it went back to $300.
