Some people hate on these for not being a round of minifigs/true minifigs, but I found them fun. Kids also seem to love them (Hotwheels sized)

Is it still generally true with buying two boxes nets you a full set?

Would be cool if buying 2 boxes guaranteed the full set but that doesn't seem to be the case.

You can get duplicates even in the same box with these multiboxes.

This is true, but in my experience it hasn't occurred in any that we have purchased. I think that mainly happens if you get one that has been messed with.

Don't forget to scan QR code on the bottom of each box and Google what the numbers mean. That will stop you from getting duplicates.

Don't think you can with these multi boxes though

Teach kids how to gamble. Should be illegal.

No way. You are asking for 2 duplicates of each of the 6

So many better LEGO sets to buy than these for their original prices of $5/each. I still wouldn't buy them at this price... pool your $20 and buy your kid a better set with more playability and minifigures. If your kid wants a race car, buy them a $1.25 Hot wheels.

There's a multitude of better ways to spend $20 on LEGO. This is not it.

Here's a couple of Harry Potter that are a much better deal

Lego seems to have gone pretty hard on F1 this year. I don't follow it, is it some anniversary year or something for F1 racing?
