I don't use them very often but are a life saver when I do. Much easier than using a screwdriver bit held with a pair of needle nose vice grips like I used to use.

I find low profile mini rachet set is better. Something like this from Amazon link below can be had for $2-$3 at Ali or Temu. And it has more different kinds of bits. I bought one from Ali and it is decent quality and only paid $2.

The flat spot on the back of these give you a fighting chance with Phillips bits. I bought the offset screwdrivers back at Sears when that was a thing in the 20th century, but I can't say that I recall ever using them successfully - maybe they're useful for some kind of "adjuster" that isn't tightened down.
