This, and also, for those who knows how to use ADB, debloating the tablet helps a lot.
Yes debloating and disabling animations in accessibility menu helps a good amount

You want me to find a $20 tablet THAT HAS MONTH FEES OF $20 jus so you don' have to use your hotspot?
This is not a very good tablet and you will be paying monthly for this until???? And you have to be a T-Mobile customer which means you are already getting ripped off.
AND ALL YOU CARE ABOUT IS THE $20 tablet?????!!!!!
You have no idea what this deal is. YOU ONLY PAY 1 MONTH!

Enable developer options first, then try this:

Window animation scale off
Transition animation scale off
Animator duration scale .5x
Logger buffer sizes: 8M per log buffer
Limit background processes to 4
Reset accessibility settings

I signed up online less than a week ago on the $25 BYOD unlimited plan, and now I got this tablet online for $20.00 with no tax owed, so paying for the first month of phone service in advance counts for "30 days." I never had to visit a Metro store. Also, the tablet has two-day shipping for free.

Does anyone know if the tablet unlocks eventually to use on T-Mobile MVNOs? Last year I got two $40 deal from Metro on two Galaxy A15 phones for my kids, waited 180 days, and they unlocked. I tried both A13 and A15 myself, and they are solid phones.

Yes, it will be unlocked eventually for other MVNOs. The same unlocking way as your A13 and A15 through Settings -> Connections -> More Connection Settings.
The wait time is now 365 days from activation date. Only 1 month service is required. The other 11 months can be on WiFi or just in a drawer. Unlocking is not needed for my kids as they only use them on WiFi.
