I think Nintendo really hit on something with the console launch outside the holiday season. With Switch 1 they released in March and had big releases every month or two in the first year (Mario Kart, Splatoon, Mario Odyssey) which led into the holiday season and was almost a second launch for the Switch.
It doesn't look like we'll have quite as many heavy hitters with the Switch 2, but still getting Donkey Kong, Metroid, probably a Pokemon game. Pretty good first year!
I think it has nothing to do with that and more to do with alot of people are upset about their anti-consumer practices

Ok thanks I just renewed my online for 2 years. Was trying to find a way to get the expansion as well.
The Mario kart code should be in front of the user manual. There was no Zelda game that came with this bundle only the online with expansion.

I doubt it, I believe they just made a bunch of them to get it in peoples hands. There isn't anything holding them back to ramp up production. There's no chip shortage , no covid, no competing systems or even a new iphone. Switch 2 is the only thing that dropped recently.
