Only 64GB non-upgrable RAM instead of the minimum 128GB? This seems like a faux pas for a system designed for AI. String a bunch of these together you can rival some lowend GPU servers specifically designed for AI that costs tens of thousands.

The RAM is attached to the AMD Ryzen AI chips, just like the new Intel line.

If you click on the link you will note there is a second config option with 128 gb of RAM and 2 TB NVME storage for an additional $500.

obviously not the target functionality for this PC, but given the fact if can display 8k, does the chip allow it to game at all/decently? edit: found a good answer -tl;Dr probably not worth it unless you are mainly buying for AI/productivity and will do light gaming on the side:https://www.reddit.com/r/MiniPCs/s/yWMxpz5113

No it is not like Lunar Lake On Package memory. The memory is soldered into the motherboard and can have 32GB, 64GB and 128GB configuration and connects with the CPU's 256 Bit LPDDR5X memory controller, which the Board or the PC manufacturer can choose from, unlike Intel Lunar Lake where if you choose a Processor, you will get only one Ram configuration.

Thanks for the link for the curious. Similar performance to a 4060 mobile. Actually pretty decent.

No deal at all. It's the everyday price on Amazon. They also jacked up the "list price" $200 to claim a larger savings compared to Amazon.

As for using this to run LLM, friends don't let friends use non Nvidia GPUs.
