Hmm, I was all set to buy this Arctic 5 set:
https://www.amazon.com/dp/B07HC78..._lig_dp_it
But 2 of these would be about $10 more for 6 in the configuration I need (3 front intake, 3 top exhaust)

I know the daisy chain is cleaner, but you can save another $10 by grabbing the 3-pack of the TL-12C series.

It's a different style, but nearly all of ThermalRight's fans are ARGB +5V.
Is there specific link, or a particular of the models that you recommend?

I used these in my build because they use them in the CPU cooler I got from them and they are outstanding for the price

The closest thing to these are the regular TL-M12. They are usually ~$8 so three add up to $24 and do not have clever daisy chaining. Also the regular M12 spin to 1500rpm and the OP spin to 2000rpm. So they push a little more air and get a little bit louder as a result.

This is more about QoL improvements in not having to deal with say 4 extra cables in your case. Connect the 3 fans in series and plug the lone cable to the mobo header. Do the same for the other 3. Done. No clutter and no mess.

The specs are decent compared to a single Noctua fan at $35 or Lian Li's original 3 fan version at $70 ~ $90. I have Arctic's 140mm bundle and they're good but have to deal with the individual cables.

Not sure what you're actually comparing.

ThermalRight sells tons of different fans that overlap on performance, even if they don't all look the same.

And with them being PWM, max RPM is kind of an insurance policy you tend to avoid. It seems nice to have the headroom at first, until you realize you can't slow them down enough without introducing noise.

I've used these most recently to match the ones that came with my AIO: https://a.co/d/71vaSUU

Having them all run at the same relative fan curve has quieted things down quite a bit.

I understand that, Its just that having only having 2 cables for 3 fans just makes cable management much cleaner/easier, and the price seemed really good. I appreciate the response and suggestion tho, I did end up buying the same fans, just not in this uni style

Noctua ftw but the lianli unifan copycats are heading the right direction. Cable management such a pita why rgb had to make matters worse shows boomers are running the show for standards still

For me, I don't really need a three fan spread, but having a handful of low cost good quality fans on standby for if I need to replace something is gold
