This offer is big time misleading with the way it's worded in the weekly ad. It makes it sound like all items under those category are BOGO 50% off. It turns out that the offer is only on SELECT Movies, Music, Books, Board Games/Puzzles, which limits the options incredibly, especially when it comes to music. I think there's only 20 items that qualify.
You can continue not to have money, Target...

They typically do the Buy 2 Get 1 Free promo twice a year: the first Circle Week and then Black Friday. But I agree that promo comes out to be a better deal than this one.

I'm just looking for the music within that pile of hundreds of thousands, and the number of items that qualify for music are very narrow. It's mostly vinyl and the titles that are eligible are basically just the top 40 mainstream, classic and Target exclusive major label stuff. I had a cart with 20 recently released indie rock albums on CD format ready for the promo, and 0 of them were eligible once I went to checkout.

As another commenter stated, the buy 2 get 1 free promo typically applies to all music and it's also the better deal once you do the math if you're looking to stock up on your indie music titles.
