Not your fathers Nakamichi. Chinese owned now and the everyday price should be no more than $30. And that's too expensive for the lack of quality.

Anyone know a better device that matches these specs, with or without DVD but including backup cam, for the same price?

I bought one from Woot at $50. Android Auto (reason for purchase) works perfect. However, the microphone in the radio sucks (for calls) -- You can add external microphone, but I'm too lazy. Sound is much better than my $300 Android-based radio that it replaced. Wished I had got it at $30, but happy at $50.

Just a heads up, I don't think this model - the NA3020 - supports Android Auto.

The reviews don't seem that great for thus model, some say it just shuts off and others say it works intermittently. Others say there's engine noise that comes through the radio. I was about to buy it a few days ago but since my stock head unit works fine, think I'll just get a backup camera with it's own monitor and mount it in the sun shade visor.

You can grab a wireless transmitter/receiver and use that for your camera connection if you want. Those things are kinda laggy though. Meh.

Yep. Its cheap Chinesium stuff now although I did grab the 1500Watt amp. Its actually nice and heavy for its size. I was really surprised. I'll get it wired up one day to see if it even works. LOL

DVD players can actually come in handy. Consider this. You can burn around 2 to 3 thousand songs at an acceptable bitrate of 128 Kbps onto a single dvd so a single 10 pocket cd holder on your visor can store and organize a good sized music collection of about 20,000 to 30,000 songs. Not bad to be able to have your entire music collection, plus more all condensed to a just few discs stored in arms reach right in front of your eyes. Blank DVDs and Portable usb DVD burners are remarkably cheap nowadays to boot. (like between 15 to 25 dollars cheap) Most older laptops use have built in burners but those days seem like an eternity ago. Can't even remember when I've seen an optical drive on a laptop.
