If you could find an open box at best buy, that's a steal.

Oled needs to get better... use less electricity and cost less.. no to mention eliminate burn in... decades after its invention nearly 20 years after introduced in mass production tvs.

Lol. It doesn't use much electricity. The price has come down, but will never be as low as lesser-technology displays. Burn-in is no longer prevalent. It hasn't been prevalent for 6 or 7 years. Every mass produced product in existence has defective units. Burn-in is very uncommon now, and you essentially have to try to get it, or just get unlucky and get a bad panel. Nothing is better than OLED/QD-OLED. What else you got?

what's up with the screen measurement here? say s 27" which i expect, but then on the product listing says

> Sony INZONE M10S 27" OLED 1440p Gaming Monitor 480Hz 0.03ms, Low Profile Stand, Tournament Mode, Dual Screen Size (24.5")

LG only does P-OLED and exited the mobile display market years ago and only just returned. The newer OLED displays have a lot more burn in prevention features.

It's in the product images; it switches the active display size to 24.5" which is desirable for certain competitive egames

July/August Gigabyte is supposed to release the MO27Q28G with an 280hz 4th Gen WOLED panel for $499 MSRP. $700+ for 1440P is too much $700-$800 range can get you 32" 4K OLED monitors.

I got the bb open box deal when it was around 650. I love the 24.5 for competitive fps games and the oled screen is amazing. I totally recommend this if you can push the frames or are upgrading from a tn or IPS.

Tandem oled coming from LG is supposed to do this, less power, more brightness, and $500

The lg phone and pixel phone made with lg panel were bad products with no burn in protection. But that was over 6 years ago. And at that time samsung already fixed oled burn in on phones. lg chose not to figure it out before release.

And now every mass produced oled has 3 or more kinds of oled protection, for the last 6 years

They usually over provision the pixels so that they can move the content on screen slowly over time. Shifting from side to side and corner to corner. Additionally they play with the brightness dynamically to force the pixels to dim slowly and barely noticeably at various times of use.

And there's more types solutions employed to. It's not that it won't happen its that it won't be noticeable for 10 years of use, and even then at will be barely noticeable.

Lots of pipeline products are seeing delays because of tariffs
