GeForce RTX 5070 12GB OC GDDR7 PCI Express 5.0 Graphics Card with Triple Fan

Not really a deal. It's the card at MSRP. Hopefully this is a sign of more cards actually selling for MSRP and this post can be downvoted into oblivion.

This deal looks similar to the Walmart deal from last month:

I had gotten an MSI version from US-MSI store for this price. Then they sent it where it required a signature. I wasn't home waiting on them all day so it got sent to a holding area. I gave up trying to find it so it got sent back to MSI. I had to file a BBB and get paypal involved to finally get my money back. I was getting worried

Been building PCs for over 2 decades. Gigabyte has one of the best manufacturing processes and lowest failure rates in the whole industry. It use to be my 2nd favorite but now tied 1st with Asus. Gigabyte quality still been coming up but sadly Asus been slacking. MSI, Zotac, and PNY are the 3rd worse brands with problems by far.

Thank you for sharing this. I'm still struggling with understanding RTX and RGB though. Is RTX better? I did a quick web search (see below), but I'm still scratching my head.RTX vs RGB:RTX refers to a line of high-end Nvidia graphics cards that support ray tracing, a rendering technique that creates more realistic lighting and shadows. RGB, on the other hand, is a color model used for displaying colors on digital screens, where red, green, and blue light are combined to create a wide range of hues. While RTX cards are often marketed with RGB lighting, the two terms represent distinct technologies: RTX is a hardware platform for improved graphics processing, while RGB is a color model for displaying images.RTX vs RGB - Elaboration:RTX (Real-Time eXtras): RTX cards are equipped with specialized hardware, including RT cores and Tensor cores, that allow them to perform ray tracing and AI-powered features like DLSS (Deep Learning Super Sampling). These features enhance visual fidelity and performance, especially in games and applications that utilize them. RGB (Red, Green, Blue): RGB is an additive color model that uses red, green, and blue light to produce a wide range of colors on digital displays. It's commonly used in monitors, displays, and other devices that display images using light. While some RTX cards may incorporate RGB lighting for aesthetics, the RGB technology is separate from the core functionality of the RTX hardware. RTX vs RGB - In summary:RTX focuses on enhancing visual quality and performance through hardware-accelerated features, while RGB is a color model for displaying colors on digital screens. While RTX cards may incorporate RGB lighting, the two technologies are distinct.
RBG is just shortened for Red Blue Green. If a card is RBG you can change the color/light brightness on cards. Pair up to music sometimes ect.
Where as RTX is just prefix name that came from Ray Tracing. Just a style of name for brand appeal for Nvida cards. Use to be GTX, example GTX 1080. I believe it switched on the 2000s series with raytracing release.

Gigabyte is a solid motherboard and video card manufacturer. Ignore this baseless claim.

"In the U.K., this is not a problem. You can snag one right now at £10 below MSRP right now from Overclockers, as stock has finally normalized. But the U.S. is still in a bit of a tight spot at the moment with prices in excess of $100 over that $749 MSRP." This is for 5070 ti and means, if you are patient and hold out, maybe it will stabilize to msrp. I'm still on amd RX 480, and hope that inspires ppl. I remember when (1990s) I had a Sound Blaster 16 and it was the thing back then before SB AWE32. So I have practice being happy with what I got. Think 5070 ti at msrp might be the next jump, but if that doesn't happen then on to the next bandwagon. This has been ongoing since 1000 series, it was hard to get one.

I need something to last a while (8-10 years for Blender). Seems like 12gb could force me to upgrade in lesser timeframe.

I don't understand why anyone would bother with 12 GB RAM if they already have 5070 ti or 5060 Ti
