As someone who has been going to vegas occasionally for a long time (non-local), I've heard it called "The Strat" for over a decade now. I remember going a few months before Vegas legalized weed (Jan 1st 2017) and hearing it called The Strat.

Regardless, it's always been Stratosphere with my friends and I. I did confirm with two of the buddies I usually go with, and neither of them called it the Strat either. I guess we need to start since they officially changed their name five years ago (not a decade)

Because you either live or work in Vegas and you called it the Strat you think it was wide spread a decade ago. Feel free to keep the police on speed dial if you see someone smoking weed. Please use the non-emergency line unless of course they are also homeless, then it certainly qualifies as an emergency. We've heard you loud and clear. Welcome back!
