Anyone have experience with the pruner? Seems like a good deal, but just not sure how much it's needed vs a simple manual pruner.

Not sure why. I get 404 error in Brave and Microsoft Edge but it just worked in Opera.

I bought one 2 years ago for my wife. She loves it. I ended up cutting up a huge thorny bush into tiny pieces with this thing. Cut about every foot. It was effortless and allowed me to take what normally would have been 3-4 pickup loads into just one load. I will be getting one for relatives who have arthritis.

I have the Ryobi one and it is a great tool. If pruning anything substantial like a small tree, it makes the job go so much faster. Also easier on the wrist! I bought it for wife too but now use it way more myself lol

Love this pruner, no wrist or fingers fatigue. I have lots of white oaks and cut 1/2", much easier than scissor on paper.

The powered pruner is one of those tools, you don't know you needed it until after you used it. I ordered the blemished one, came in a retail box that was taped shut. Looked brand new. The first thing I did was cut all the sucker on the trees along the roadside and limb them up to 5ft. I used mines to cut wild rose in the edge of the field and fence. I also used it to cut vines too. I have used it to cut long debris shorter while pruning. Overall I think it's handy if you have a yard that frequently likes to have stuff overgrown or need to prune to maintain shape.

Like others have said, this thing is awesome. You will do more pruning because it is so easy and you will have no hand fatigue.
However, I will add a word of caution. Keep your free hand away if you want to keep your fingers. When you pull the trigger, it will complete the full cycle of the cut.
