Anyhow, I worked with a Govt Agency doing computer stuff, and we had HP employees embedded and an HP Rep for sales to us of stuff we needed. The REP took my HP and 'gifted' me an equivalent Compaq. This was after 2 replacements from CS and the chip continued to unsolder itself under normal usage. The chip was built into the mainboard, so it was more than just swapping a GPU. The Compaq he provided performed the same and never had an issue.
