You want $30+ dollar an hour salaries, union protection, all while getting cheap affordable and durable goods that last a lifetime. The absurdity of this logic borders insane.
how is this a "rain defender" without a hood? 🤔
You want a $900 jacket? That's how you get a $900 jacket.

Probably made in India or China. Gone are the days when CARHARTT was proudly made in USA by Union Labor.

Except that we now get minimum wage salaries that haven't increased since 2009, next to zero employment protections (and zero nationalized healthcare), our imported goods are disgustingly expensive (and are now up to 145% even MORE expensive), and they fall apart within a season as they're considered "disposable fashion".

Too bad most other first world (and even some third world) countries have figured this out.

And yet, we did it just fine in the late 70s, 80s and early 90s.
Eh, you do know most people want office jobs under AC, at a desktop? That's why finance and software are such popular fields in the US. Only older gens care about working on assembly lines or manufacturing domestically. $30/hr rate is nothing nowadays. Fresh grads going into software development can get $50+ day one.

and had a massive recession with double digit interest rates, Chrysler had to be saved by everyone taking huge pay cuts and trickle down economics failed then also.

Scheels is a legit retailer. Actually a more upscale Cabelas / Bass pro. Not my vibe, but you can trust the site.
