Sure but it's overkill. Difficult to sand when dry and hard as rock. It's better for areas that will get wet and/or need to be tough
I use a lot of this to cover the holes in my wall that are a result of my gambling losses. Dries quickly and easy to sand over. A little paint and everything is good as new.

Only consideration is color. I used this on my deck for some surface imperfections, and even though it's close in color, it's really obvious even after staining (transparent stain). Doesn't bother me but just pointing that out.
Good thinking. So it's ok to use strainer on this to match the rest of the fence?

Can this be used to repair furniture, such as a dented edge?

I'm changing kitchen cabinet drawers and need to fill the old holes to drill new ones ~same spot - will this work for that purpose or it's better to just hammer in some toothpicks instead?

How do you prevent this stuff from drying up after it's opened? I always use a little and when I go to use it again, it's dried up

Most often you can rehydrate it (as well as spackle) with some distilled water.

It's actually an old hole. The previous owner of my home had mice. I cleaned everything out. No more mice. But now I have 2 inch hole in my cabinet under the sink. It's currently covered with duck tape, and I hate looking at it. And I can't afford to replace cabinetry so figured this might be a nice fix.
Why I am seeing this for $5.92?

The transparent stain didn't really do much to this stuff, either in color or function. If you use a more opaque stain, I imagine it would get covered up.

this is so creepy. the extend to which they're spying on me is unbelievable. i just got a free used desk off of craigslist. somehow they found out and guessed i might want to fix it up. i was actually thinking about wood filler too.
