I have a relatively small yard and I can't do my front and back without recharging. Part of me likes that(small tasks are easier for me to start and complete), but maybe not for everyone. I got this for $160 though.

A self propelled Ryobi is much better, but a lot more expensive BUT it will make your life a lot easier. I have both, got the Ryobi used and I'm slowly buying 40v tools with batteries as they have sales.

I bought this combo at Sam's, but ended up returning it due to the poor battery performance. I don't have a big yard, but it was still impossible to finish the job without multiple recharges. I spent 3 days trying to get it done, with 4 charging cycles of at least 6 hours each, and I barely managed to cover half the yard.
To be fair, I really liked the design and thought the combo was quite affordable at first. But if you have to buy extra batteries to make it usable, the cost quickly jumps to another level. If you're just trimming a very small area that takes 10 minutes, maybe it's fine — otherwise, it's just not practical. Very disappointed with the battery life and overall performance.
