Q7 has less suction than the Q5 Pro (which has dual rollers too), mopping is the same useless swiffer like mechanism. Definite pass over a Q5 Pro which is often on sale refurbished for $110 and new at $140.

Any idea where one can find a Q5 Pro refurbished often on sale? Asking for a friend

Love my two roborocks, but you really want the self-empty dock.

I resisted upgrading to a dock model for a long time, but it is the missing link that makes everything work. Want to be able to set these things on a schedule and not really worry about them too much. They also work better when the bins are empty and the filter has been reverse-suctioned. Sure, emptying the bin isn't really hard, but you forget to do it...and you end up having to clean the filter more often because it doesn't get sucked out.

The mop is just a drag behind and is meant to be used with only plain water. Don't think of it like actual mopping, think of it like enhanced dust removal at best. I'll throw the pad on there every once and a while and let it wipe down all the hard floors, but it doesn't do a ton and it isn't something you want to leave on there permanently because it will get gross fast.

My Refurbished S5 died after 5 years. It broke the roller compartment and it going to cost $70 in parts for me to fix. Would this be a decent upgrade or should I get the refurbished Q5 Pro.
