Its not necessarily bad, but the data transfer speed is not clearly advertised for this cable and I thought I'd save people the trouble. 480 mb/s is the old usb 2.0 standard and newer applications (Android Auto for instance) work much better with a faster data transfer speed.
Also, cables without data transfer have an important use case. Your phone can get hacked through public USB charging ports, so using cables without data transfer is safer. I like to have one with me when I travel.

After your comment, just noticed in the pictures the black ones don't have 240w imprinted on them. Bought the Red 10ft will give feedback if they indeed are imprinted.
