Bought this a week ago. Can confirm they are Realtek NICs.
You don't. You wipe it first and install clean OS.
Almost bought this but looked around and found this [amazon.com]. It's dual 2.5GB Intel NIC and 512GB memory for $149.99.

USB-C powered, it'd pretty cool portable computer if you can use the single port to connect to a docking station

Good deal for use as pfsense router. Dual Intels nics.Edit: Apparently they aren't Intel based on some replies here. I based this off of the Amazon search for "nic" which returned the following:"The mini PC has Dual Intel i225v 2.5G Gigabit"

The 512gb version is $230 minus thirtyFIVE percent off, for 80.50 off, so only 9.50 more for 256gb ssd instead. Id lean toward 512 at that price myself

how comfortable are you to open banking websites on these mini computers . I heard these could have malware\spyware. I understand even Hp and lenovos are made in China , but those are known brands .

RAM is soldered in, not changeable/replaceable, or upgradable. Lots of models of these mini PCs with simple RAM slots so this one is a no-thanks for me.

My bad, wasn't careful typing... But yes same specs as this mostly and you get 2 2.5 gig intel ports.

Grabbed the KAMRUI version over the weekend with 16/512, both expandable. Doesn't have dual Ethernet or WiFi 6, but it is only around $150 today: https://a.co/d/aorJWzM

Your perspective is totally reasonable and valid, but I do want to point out this is ddr5 4800 whereas all the n150 options I've seen with replaceable ram are ddr4. I decided to go the ddr5 route as I was willing to sacrifice ram size for speed, as I use mine for light gaming occasionally.

A couple of reviewers indicate they're Realtek NICs.
