Nintendo Switch 2 compatible?

Edit: Webcam is USB-A, so would need a USB-C adapter for use with a Switch 2.

Edit 2: so apparently USB-A webcams also works on the Switch 2. Further proof that simply googling a question will not always provide you with the truth.

I don't have this exact model, but a similar one from ugreen. Its 1080. The camera is very much like the Logitech 920 for easy comparison. It's little sharper in image quality but the focus response isn't as fast. For $20 its great bang for your buck but I like the Logi better if I had to choose.

I'm currently using a USB-A 1080p webcam with my Switch 2. It's plugged directly into the side of my dock.

When none of the pictures in the product review are of the quality of the camera, you know it's suspicious. All the photos are just pictures of the webcam itself for some reason. Take this as a HUGE warning.

Suspicious that the pictures are of the product they are selling?

The "quality" of the camera pics in most listings are fake anyway.

If you check the reviews for webcams by the well known companies like Logitech, you'll see an abundance of pictures of actual webcam quality. So I'm not sure why you'd think that.

I have this one, it hunts a lot for auto focus. It's a good bang for your buck. Not terrible but not amazing by any means.

It says "powerful fixed focus" on the product page. I'm not sure what makes a fixed focus powerful though...

This camera is not compatible with the Nintendo Switch 2.

Just tried it with my Switch 2. Only works for audio. No video. Both work fine on my Mac Mini.

I got this one when it was on sale for $10 and it works great on Switch 2. Heck, it's only $15 now but I was happy with the quality and stuff if you need a cheap camera, I do not think you will find a better one for Switch 2 in this price range!
